Residents Respond to TD Bank's Penny Arcade for the Historical Society

by Paul Saulnier
November 8, 2015

A check matching the amount of change that went through TD Bank's Penny Archade was presented to the Historical Society Friday afternoon.

On hand to receive the check was, left to right, property manager Stewart Wohlrab, society treasurer Bill Tobin, society president Paul Saulnier, TD Bank Assistant Manager Heidi Coutavas and TD Bank Manager Kirsten Joseph.

TD Bank's match totalled $2, 339.01. The funds will be applied to the repairs need to the chimney that is used during 18th Century Days. For more than 50 years the society has been teaching Holliston's third graders about how kids lived during the 1700s in Holliston but no fires in the fire place have been possible for many years due to cracks in the flue.

The Society is grateful to TD Bank for selecting this project for their Penny Arcade and to member Shirley Melle for presenting the project to TD Bank.
