Ginger Bread House Decorating

by Tracey Geden
December 5, 2016

Don’t forget to sign up for your seat at the Gingerbread House Decorating Event on Saturday, December 10th, 2016! Lisa and I are so excited to once again be co-chairing this event as we love it…it is as much fun for us as it is for all of the families and kids who get to come and create their beautiful – and yummy - Gingerbread Houses!

Once again we have the amazing Dee Steffen creating our Gingerbread fresh with all the ingredients, donated by Blue Ginger in Wellesley, Massachusetts where Dee is the Pastry Chef! They fully support Dee’s involvement and allow her to give her time and effort to us and we cannot thank them and her enough. We also have amazing help from our Girl Scout Troop #75346 as well as Maryann Brown who is our candy Queen every year! Lastly our event is held at the Mount Hollis Lodge, and folks there could not be kinder and more helpful every year!

Seatings available are 10-11 am (SOLD OUT), 11:30 am-12:30 pm, 1 pm-2 pm and 2:30 pm-3:30 pm and houses are $35.00 per house.

If you would like to donate a house for a Food Pantry Family to enjoy please email me at traceybc93@yahoo.com and we can get this arranged.

For any allergy or other related questions please contact Lisa at lisciacca@hotmail.com

Thanks so much!

Meet Some of the Celebrate Holliston Sponsors: Part 1: Ahronian Landscaping

by Theresa Lamkin

Celebrate Holliston is proudly in its 27th year of celebration! It is a completely volunteer based organization whose goal is to raise money for the town while promoting unity and town pride. . . We could never meet our goals without the support of our amazing sponsors! . . . This year, we would like to profile a few of those sponsors and let them explain to you, in their own words, why they chose to support our event and what Holliston means to them.

Civics Sunday: Celebrate Holliston Honors 2019 Citizens of the Year

by Yvette Cain

Celebrate Holliston, a town fund-raising non-profit organization established in 1991, honors volunteers Bea Hait and Ken Henderson as its Citizens of the Year. It seems only logical since Celebrate Holliston donates its time, energy, and financial support to worthwhile town projects that it would seek out those among us who volunteer their time and energies to make our community a better place to live.
