This incredibly fun Improv Summer Acting camp includes everything you love about theatre without the pressure of rehearsing a show. So much fun as we learn more about acting with improvisational techniques, using props, music, puppetry and more!

Prana Summer Acting Camp 2017 includes the wonderful world of Disney! Your favorite Disney songs come together in a beautiful mix to form one upbeat fun show. 

Children and teens will have a delightful two weeks creating a fast-paced revue based on classic and new Disney tunes. From Beauty and the Beast to the Aristocats, from Alice in Wonderland to the Little Mermaid, these are songs that have enchanted moviegoers for generations – and today!

For 15 years, the Prana Summer Acting Camp has been a fun, safe environment to try out singing, dancing & acting! Our Musical Theatre sessions end with a big show at a local school. Every day you do singing, dancing and acting, plus have time for lots of fun outdoor time!

Students are grouped by age and do a wide variety of activities each day, in our beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces at CTK Church in Holliston (Camp is held at the church, located at 600 Central Street, with shows at local schools). Everyone ends up on stage with lines, songs and dances … and a smile!

A Sample Day in our 2-week Disney Summer Acting Camp

9-9:30 Wake-up warmups to Disney songs old and new!
9:30-10:15 Music – learn your group’s Disney songs!
10-15-10:30 Snack
10:30-11:15 Outdoor acting games with Disney theme
11:15-12 Rehearsing your scenes!
12-1 Lunch outdoors
1-1:45 Choreography to your Disney song!
1:45-2:30 Theatre Make-Up workshop – can you turn into the Beast or Elsa from Frozen?
2:30-3 Yoga/Relaxation

Groups for children and teens entering Kindergarten through high school.

Prana Summer Acting Camp presents Annie Jr.!

A spunky Depression-era orphan is determined to find her parents, who abandoned her on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.  Its upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals in history!

Rock & Hip-Hop Summer Camp! Rock and roll is here to stay with this upbeat musical with rock and hip-hop songs from hit Broadway shows including Hamilton, Matilda, Grease, Hairspray and much more! Your fun two-week Musical Theatre session will end with a high-energy show where you will sing and dance with kids your own age. Prana’s wonderful multi-age camps includes groups of same-age children and teens, with opportunities for older campers to learn leadership skills and role-model for those following in their footsteps!

Celebrate Holliston, a town fund-raising non-profit organization established in 1991, honors volunteers Bea Hait and Ken Henderson as its Citizens of the Year.
