HIB Announces Round Three of Floral Awards

Above Bailey Irr and Olivia Tornifoglio hold Holliston Superette's award for their window box display. While Chris Leoncini hires professional gardner Meg Porter to plant and maintain the boxes, Holliston in Bloom notes the consistent year over year effort to enhance the downtown square.

This home at the corner of Exchange and Railroad Streets was once downtrodden until local builder Skip Kelleher rehabbed the older colonial. The new residents and we don't even know their names have made the street side residence showy with black eyed susans and roses.

This garden at the corner of Rockland and South Streets belongs to Annie Hale and David Bastille. The site of the former Braggvile Train Station, David and Annie have opted for a large display of perrenials instead of the usual shubbery found in front of many homes. HIB judges took into consideration the short dry spell during our judging
