Framingham Union Aid Association Board Appreciates Your Support

by Press Release
November 7, 2017

On behalf of the entire Framingham Union Aid Association Board and Membership, I want to thank everyone for your donations, participation, and support of our 125th Anniversary Celebration & Wine Tasting Fundraiser. This event was a community-wide celebration of our history and our biggest fundraiser in many years.  All monies raised will support our many community initiatives including our upcoming grant program which will launch in December.

The Framingham Union Aid Association was founded in 1892 with 25 volunteers and now celebrates our 125th anniversary with several hundred members. We are located at the MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham Campus, and are involved in many hospital-based and community activities. The Aid has hosted educational events, participated in community services, and held fundraising events to subsidize our annual grant awards program and many other activities. Since 1998, we have awarded approximately 30 grants per year for healthcare-related programs, totaling over $1.4 million.

Sincerely,

Melissa Ford, President
