Town Hall Closed

Due to extreme water damage, the Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday afternoon and evening, January 9, 2018.  We plan to open regular hours on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

It's an older building. Even though it was recently renovated, the insulation can only be so good. -10 degrees with strong wind was enough to freeze pipes in my modern home. I suppose they could crank up the heating but then there would be cries of money being wasted st the next Town Meeting. Sometimes, stuff just happens, and you have to deal with it the best you can.

Why does this keep happening?? Is this not like the 3rd or 4th time town hall has closed due to cold temps in the last several years? Someone's got some 'splaining to do

Saw the coverage on WCVB. Broken pipe, damage in Sectman meeting room, Assessor's office, etc.

As a concerned resident, this is very vague and alarming; can you clarify extreme and name the cause?

It seems like the town hall has had alot of water issues the last few years. Why is that? Maybe some extra heat might help.

As a result of the closing of town hall, the 8 Arch Bridge Committee will be meeting in the Local History Room of the Library at 7PM
