Holliston Food Truck Festival to Benefit Local American Legion ---- May 13th

by Press Release
May 13, 2018

Mark your calendar for the Third Annual Holliston Food Truck Festival on May 13th at the Holliston Historical Society (547 Washington Street).

This fun (and delicious) event will take place from 11-3, rain or shine.  Local bands will be entertaining throughout the day and there will be a wide variety of excellent food to please any appetite.   Tables and chairs will be available for everyone to enjoy the food and festivities, but feel free to bring a blanket to relax and lounge.  All proceeds will benefit the Holliston American Legion.

This Food Truck Festival will include approximately 8-10 traveling kitchens that will serve a variety of menus.  From mouthwatering BBQ to finger licking chicken and delicious seafood, we advise you to come hungry!  Finally, save room for dessert as Ben and Jerry’s will be joining us to celebrate Mothers Day!

American Legion Commander Steve Bradford stated “We are thrilled to be a part of this great event.  With a variety of food trucks expected, we hope to tempt any pallet.  100% of the proceeds will be used to help our local veterans”.

So come with your family and friends to the Historical Society grounds, 547 Washington Street,  May 13,           from 11-3.  Enjoy some great food, great entertainment and help our local veterans!

On Monday, January 7th, the Holliston Public Library hosted a Meet the Author session with local writer, Ted Reinstein, who 'edu-tained' (educational and entertaining - not always easy to do) the audience about his most recent book, "New England's General Stores.' The fact that Ted lives in Holliston made it possible for his co-author, and wife Ann Marie to join the fun.
