Transformation Coming for Central Burial Garden Beds

by Bobby Blair
May 11, 2018

The garden beds fronting the Central Burial Ground next to town hall will hopefully have a new look just in time for the judges from America in Bloom who arrive in town in July. Blue hydrangas will now grace the sidewalk border garden thanks to the generousity of the Georgallas family of Holliston. The aim of the project is for matching book ends and matching the large project which was undertaken by Holliston in Bloom in front of the First Congregational Church in 2017.

Lucas Pocher, pictured above with his dad Joe, has accepted the challenge of the transformation as his Eagle Scout Project. Pocher will be receiving oversight from the Downtown Marigold Project, Ahronian Landscape, and soil from the Highway Department.

Fifteen blue hydrangas await Pocher and his scout troop.
