HIB Has Started Planting

Planting work has started for the season:

  • All 176 Proven Winner plants installed today were generously donated by Anne Huntington and Lorna Cohen. Note the photo of empties!
    (Additional 45 perennials will be purchased and planted by HIB at the border)
  • Entire 353’ length of border amended with 34 bags of compost & manure
  • 22 volunteer hours worked including 8th grader Jake Lynch stopped on his way home from baseball game at Flagg field and offered to help! Who are we to refuse? Volunteers included HIB co-chairs Kathy and Cherry, Jill Malcolm, Paul Saulnier, Bea Hait, David Bastille, Leslie Rich, and Jake Lynch.
