Beginner's Yoga - two new classes at Prana

by Roberta Weiner
August 27, 2018

Prana friends - if you haven't taken a Yoga class at Prana (or maybe anywhere!) but maybe you've considered it - here's the perfect way to start.

We're offering two sessions for Beginners this fall. They're a great introduction for new students, and a wonderful way to brush up on the basics if you're a little rusty. When practiced safely with a certified teacher, Yoga can help you improve strength, flexibility and balance, and is wonderfully relaxing.

I've been teaching Yoga for nearly 20 years and practicing since I was 17 years old. The truth is, I could never direct all the Prana plays and run the camps without the tools and techniques I've learned from Yoga.

Also very happy to have teenagers or serious children in one of the evening sessions - it's a great way for them to chill out after a long day of school and homework. (We have a separate Kids Yoga class Thursday afternoons)

Here's a link with more info on Beginners and feel free to email me with any questions. Would love to have you join us!

Civics Sunday: Celebrate Holliston Honors 2019 Citizens of the Year

by Yvette Cain

Celebrate Holliston, a town fund-raising non-profit organization established in 1991, honors volunteers Bea Hait and Ken Henderson as its Citizens of the Year. It seems only logical since Celebrate Holliston donates its time, energy, and financial support to worthwhile town projects that it would seek out those among us who volunteer their time and energies to make our community a better place to live.
