There is an interesting pond behind the abandoned "hardware store" on Washington between Chestnut and Village Plaza. The water stays pretty uncluttered, there is parking and access from the rail trail, and even nearby electric power access if that helps... How about maintaining the pond for ice skating in the winter?

Secondly, can the old building itself be used for recreational purposes? tks.
