Saturday Morning at a Glance
Unseasonable weather helped fundraisers and those doing community service on a great November morning...

Scouts from Troop 14 organize donations they received from townspeople at the Food Pantry. A total of 245 bags of non-perishable items were collected.

Below from (left to right) Lauren Salle (purple jacket), Maddie Carulli and Lauren Salle sell Panther scarves for $8 to raise funds for Girl Scout Troop #2238.

Those wishing to purchase a scarf can do so when the girls take part in the downtown Holiday Stroll on Saturday, November 27th.

At the other end of town at the dump (sorry it's still the dump to me) Scout Leaders LtoR Dave Ring, Charlie Jacobs, and Charlie Paradie man the fundraising pop corn table. Those wishing to order pop corn can call Charlie at 617-697-8200. The pop corn will be delivered on December 3rd which just happens to be the town's 286th B-Day. Forefront Holliston resident Mike Napolitano ponders a purchase.

Scouts Peter Goeller (left) and Jack Mitchell help School Street resident Tom Evans unload leaves as part of their community service work. The boys are from Troop 14.

Alyssa Vanderbeek (left) and Camille Kent rake leaves at the Holliston Historical Society to help earn credits for the National Honor Society. Here's the girls proof, Ms. Miracle.

LtoR Karen Haynes, Linda Cohen, and Rebecca Queeney solicit donations for Thanksgiving Baskets at Shaw's Supermarket in Ashland. Donations can be left at Haynes home on 370 Gorwin Drive. The baskets will be assembled at Tristan O'Leary's home next Saturday and delivered to the food pantry on Sunday.
