Third Annual Joey Larracey Bowl at Kamitian Field

Holliston Football to host Framingham in third annual
“Joey Larracey Bowl” Friday, September 2th, 2011

Holliston, MA – On Friday evening September 2rd, 2011 the Holliston High School 2011 Football Team will host the third annual “Joey Larracey Bowl” at Kamitian Field in Holliston, Massachusetts.  The Game (pre-season scrimmage) will begin at 7:00PM vs. Framingham High School with all proceeds benefitting the Joseph J. Larracey Scholarship Fund.

“Joey” to his teammates and coaches was a standout varsity football player who tragically passed away in 2008 following a scrimmage game vs. Apponequet High School.

“We are always excited for our program to host Framingham in this game and appreciate the crowds and support they bring every year to this great venue.  We feel that this pre season game is a way to continue to honor Joey and everything he represented to our program.” said Holliston Head Coach Todd Kiley.  “This is also always a tremendous community event for our program and the Larracey family.  We always appreciate  the support from  the town as well as the strong crowds from our Framingham neighbors that come out to watch two great football programs play while supporting the memory of an incredible student athlete.”

The Holliston Panther football team will open their 2011 regular season on September 19 at Stoughton High School.
