Expensive pizza, unretrievable retriever, and don't be out walking without a dog...
January 23:
Lost & Found, Washington; report of lost IPod Touch while walking from High School to Table Top Pizza.
Traffic complaint with arrest; Lowland; report of a vehicle that struck utility pole and continued on. Located at second crash scene. Operator arrested for OUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and marked lanes violation.
Domestic, Washington; male arrested for A&B with a dangerous weapon.
January 24:
Animal incident, Norfolk; report of small black Laborador Retriever running loose. ACO notified.
Administrative function, Washington; police car siren malfunctioning. Swapped cars.
Animal incident, 1605 Washington; Dave Burke found black & white kitty and is caring for it until owner claims it.
January 25:
Breaking & Entering, Fiske; Century Manufacturing window broken setting off security system. Nothing taken.
January 26:
Suspicious activity, Norfolk; report of man walking without a dog. Considered suspicious by caller.
January 27:
no report.
January 28:
Suspicious activity, Washington; unwanted gift left at store for the clerk. HPD returned the gift and advised gifter not to return to the store to avoid trespass charges.
January 29:
relatively quiet day.
During the reporting period,6 citations, 5 warnings, and 4 overnight parking tickets were issued.

“Yeah, we have a quota. Two more tickets and my wife gets a toaster oven.”
