Walk in Wenakeening Woods This Sunday
by Paul Saulnier 1/31/12
Get some fresh air and burn off a few calories before the game. Join in an easy walk in Holliston's Wenakeening Woods on February 5, 2012 at 1:00 PM.
The walk will start at the Summer Street entrance across the street from Fatima Shrine, where there is ample parking for walkers granted by the the shrine.

The entrance is clearly marked and the trails have recently been marked and groomed, thanks to a grant from Holliston's Community Preservation Committee. The walk will take about one hour.
Beaver ponds, rock outcrops, and a few old foundations will make for an enjoyable hour out in the fresh air. The trustees of the Upper Charles Conservation Land Trust, owners of the 100 acres, hope that you will like the land enough to return on your own.
