by Bill Tobin 2/3/12
Super Bowl weekend is football, of course, and with it come good food and socializing.

Get ready to enjoy it
Super Bowl weekend begins on Saturday.

Saturday supper is soup at the SOUPER BOWL in Upper Town Hall from 5-8 PM.
A variety of soups will be offered for a fee of $15 for adults and kids over 12, $8 for 6-11 year olds and free soup to kids 5 and under. The soups are delicous and all the proceeds from the evening go the the Holliston Pantry Shelf, a worthy cause.

Sunday morning is pancake time at St. Mary's. from 8 in the morning 'til 1 PM The price of breakfast is only $5 and Boy Scouts in unifrom enjoy a freebee.

After breakfast go to Pleasure Point at Lake Winthrop. Leave the skates at home, but a canoe might be fun. Even though there is no ice and snow, fire pits will be burning to roast hot dogs and s'mores. Another event to mix and mingle with friends and neighbors before the big event.

The Masonic Hall on Washington Street is the place to get your sub, I mean your authentic Philadelphia Hoagie. For $8 you have a choice of all kinds of Hoagies. You name it, they will make it, The proceeds from the Hoagies are donated to the Angel Fund, a charity that helps children in Holliston that need gloves, coats, help with school outings and activities.
Then go home to enjoy the game without any need to prepare a meal.
GO. PATS...
