Ernestine "Hezzy" (Kampersal) Anderson at 82

Ernestine "Hezzy" (Kampersal) Anderson, 82 years old, formerly of Ashland and Holliston died on Sunday February 12, 2012, at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home in Medway. Born in Holliston, daughter of the late Rein and Mildred (Kairit) Kampersal she was the wife of the late Norman Anderson, who died in 1997. She was raised in Holliston and during her adolescent years worked in the family owned Kampersal Dairy. A graduate of Holliston High School, Class of 1947 and the Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing in 1950, she was a registered nurse and worked for several years at the Framingham Union Hospital.

She had been a resident of Ashland for fifty-nine years and along with her late husband was proprietor of the Anderson Sunoco Station in Holliston. She was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins fan but the main focus and love in her life was her family and the enjoyment it brought her. She is survived by two sons, Harry F. Anderson and his wife Carol of Holliston and Gary Anderson of Mendon; four brothers, Richard Kampersal and his wife Elinor; her twin brother Ernest Kampersal and his wife Frances; Donald Kampersal and his wife Mildred; and George Kampersal and his wife Mildred all of Holliston; two sisters, Helen Freeberg of East Haven, CT and Dorothy Kampersal of Framingham; three grandsons, Brian Anderson, Mark Anderson and Erik Anderson; one granddaughter, Jessica Anderson; four great-grandchildren, Samantha, Brady, Clarabelle and Aidan. She was sister of the late Harold Kampersal, Elizabeth Ghelli and Alfred Kampersal.

Services are private. Visitation at the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street, Framingham, will be on Tuesday February 21, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
