
Virginia Fede Cole at 92

Virginia Fede Cole, 92, of Holliston and formerly of Marlborough, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 10, 2012, after a short illness at the Blair House of Milford. The daughter of the late Madeline and Maurice Lunsford, Virginia was born in Cambridge on September 22, 1919. She was married to Frank Fede for 22 years and later to Herbert Cole for 26 years.
Virginia and Herb Cole were dedicated employees in advertising for the Middlesex News for more than 23 years.
She is survived by her two sons, Frank Fede and his wife Jean of Holliston, and John Fede and his wife Mary of Hopkinton. She was the grandmother to Jennifer Rogers and her husband Jeff of Jaffrey, NH; John Fede Jr. of Natick; Shannon Mushrush of PA; Amanda Rodriguez and her husband Willie of Hopkinton; Vanessa Fede of NC; and Olivia Fede of FL. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Kayla, Ashley, Brian, and Kevin Rogers, and McKenzie and Victoria Rodriguez. She was the sister of the late Donald, William and Bruce Lunsford, Phyllis Dubois, and Margerie Owens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012, from 10am-11am at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington Street. A funeral home service will follow visitation at 11:30a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.
