Carnival: First Night
by Bill Tobin 6/27/12
It was busy at the Lions Club 50th annual carnival on Wednesday
The Ferris Wheel is always a favorite with kids of all ages.
Rain threatened but did not dampen the spirts of those attending the opening day of the carnival sponsored by the Holliston Lions Club at the HHS parking lot.
It was special rate night, as $20 bought a wrist band that entitled the wearer to unlimited rides on everything available.
These are just a sampling of the rides available, some docile, some exciting -- take your pick.
The Fried Dough booth is always a hit.
Of course there is the opportunity to win a prize.
The best deal of the day is to have a hot dog, lionburger, cheese burger, nachos, chili, fries and chicken nuggets at the food stand run by the Lions Club.
Do not miss the opportunity to have fun at the carnival on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting at 5 pm each day.
