Police Log: September 10 - 18, 2012

Home invasion on Cold Spring among several other animal incidents this week, and Sergeant Gatchell finds a keg.

September 10:

Animal incident, 6:20AM, Underwood; resident reports neighbor's dog barking and waking him up.

Animal incident, 1210 Highland; deer struck. Ran off.

Animal incident, 13 Exchange; black and white cat found.

September 11:

Vehicle stop with arrest, 638 Washington; Vanessa Alley of Natick; No sticker or license (What's a sticker? Where do I get a license?)

Disturbance, Fiske; female requested assistance in removing son from residence.

September 12:

Crash with personal injury, 2234 Washington; summons issued to Kenneth Borque of Medway for OUI drugs.

Crash, 200 Summer; car hit a wall. Mark McGilvray of Holliston was issued a summons (not arrested as previously reported) for reckless operation of motor vehicle.

September 13:

Vehicle stop with summons, Washington & Quincy; Maria Tamay of Milford. For crosswalk violation and no license (What's a crosswalk? Where do I get a license?).

Complaint, Exchange; several reports of groups of teenagers "pretending" to throw rocks at vehicles passing under bridge. They told HPD that they are working on a school project. Advised.

Complaint, Exchange; same as above (advice not taken). HPD removed them from the rail bed. Parents notified.

September 14:

Animal incident, 800 Adams; dog struck. Taken to vet.

Fraud, Woodland; another senior talked into providing personal financial information to someone pretending to be with Medicare.

Animal incident, Cold Spring; report of a scary chipmunk in the house. HPD to the rescue (big game hunter on vacation).

September 15:

Vehicle stop with arrest, 1257 Washington; Sean Broderick of Medway. For marked lanes violation and OUI liquor.

Building check, Pinecrest Golf course; Officer Gatchell on patrol spotted a beer keg in front of the dumpster. Empty.

Walk-in, 461 Washington; owner of van parked in lot blocked by black pickup truck. HPD determined that pickup belonged to lot owner upset about fair goers taking up spaces for his customers and ignoring his signs warning of immediate towing for violators.

Traffic complaint, Cutler Heights; motorist reports a rock thrown at his vehicle while driving in the area.

During the reporting period,  23 citations and 19 warnings were issued. Five erratic drivers are reported.

I am witness that our squirrels on Cold Spring Road are scary, big, and numerous!
