Senior Center Has New Logo

The Holliston Senior Center and the Holliston Council on Aging are pleased to announce the winner of the New Logo Competition, Kelly Barden.

Last spring, COA board members Michele Goldberg and Lois Hosmer asked art teacher Lisa Bynoe if any of her students would be interested in creating a new logo for the Senior Center.  Twenty art students entered the contest and in September, a winning entry was chosen. 

 The logo submitted by Kelly Barden, a junior at Holliston High School was chosen because of its beauty and simplicity.

Kelly Barden and art teacher Lisa Bynoe were honored at the COA board meeting on Wednesday, October 10th. 

Flowers and prize money were presented to Kelly by Michelle Goldberg as Lois Hosmer looks on. The presentation was followed by a reception.

This is the first and only logo the Senior Center has ever known and it certainly will soon be very well known.
