A mobile van loaded with an interactive course to teach young people about distracted driving sits in the parking lot at the high school.

The van brought to town by Jensen -Sheenhan Insurance Agency along with the help of Arbella Insurance took two years to receive. Designed by the University of Massachusetts the van will end its visit on Saturday.

Olivia Naya, above, awaits the 45 minute video type course. Forty students had already been through the van's double doors at 1 p.m. on Thursday and another 50 are expected before the van moves on Saturday. The irony of the van's placement was not missed as 350 feet down the road and five hours earlier there was a two car collision.
