Police Log: October 15 - 21, 2012

Turtles don't fare any better in crosswalks than humans and some horses just won't listen.

October 15:

Suspicious activity, 2:30AM, 64 Central, report of male passed out on picnic table. Blaine LaCroix taken into protective custody.

B&E, 23 Pinecrest; unlocked vehicle entered overnight. Six dollars taken.

October 16:

B&E, 40 Pinecrest, larceny from a vehicle (HPD reports that vehicle break-ins are becomiing more frequent and advise everyone to take valuables out of the car at night and lock the cars).

Animal incident, Washington & Hollis; large turtle in crosswalk. Deceased. Hwy notified.

Animal incident, 558 Concord; light brown Lab mix struck by a car. Taken to Tufts but died there.

October 17:

Animal incident, 415 Concord; that pesky horse on the loose again. ACO will speak to owner (since speaking to the horse has had no affect).

Complaint, David; eight bow hunters on conservation land. Environmental Police notified.

Suspicious activity, Exchange; report of kids throwing rocks from bridge (throwing rocks from the road to the bridge would be suspicious activity).

October 18:

No problemo

October 19:

Animal incident, Mayflower & Brook; deer struck by motorcycle. No damage to motorcycle but deer killed.

October 20:

Vehicle stop with arrest, 1:30 AM; 81 Railroad; Thomas Haas, 116 Church; for OUI liquor (Tom, you could have crawled home from there).

Animal incident, 2184 Washington; report of possibly sick fox. Mr. Kramer notified (to possibly cure it?).

Community interaction, Exchange; HPD speaking to youths on bridge.

October 21:

Vandalism, Kim; political sign stolen.

 

During the reporting period, 31 citations and 13 warnings issued. Only one erratic driver spotted.
