I would like to commend Chief Cassidy and our town officials in keeping us informed when wheather or other events make it critical that we have up to date information. Chief Cassidy posts updates on facebook, for all to see detailing exactly what is known at the time of the posting. But that is not all that is done. Use of the reverse 911 is another way our town officials keep us informed. This prevents misinformation from getting out and people making bad decisions that could effect their safety. During emergencies it is especially important to have the correct information and get it quickly. Thankfully, we have resposible officals that make sure that everyone is kept informed. Thanks!

Bobby thanks so much for the updates and keeping us all informed as to how our little town was doing. Thanks to all the emergency personnel who responded during the storm.

Thank you for your reporting as the storm passed, Bobby. This is as local and as immediate as it gets. News services don't have people in the field any more, except for trite reports about plywood, surf and empty shelves. Yesterday the highway, fire, police, and utility workers were out in the heavy weather - and so were you, keeping us posted on our town. We know today who we can thank for our wellbeing yesterday.

Somewhere I saw that the schools were closed due to the weather forecast for today. It's just rain! If power was out at the school I'd understand.

Information is power, Mr. Mayor. Today Holliston! Tomorrow, Framingham!

Should Brad be waiting until 5AM to make that call? Right?

why are schools closed on Tuesday, why? This is not a snow storm. This is a bit too much. Kids have had 2 full weeks of school in the first 2 months.
- Reed | 10/29/12 7:04 PM
Holliston schools web site now says schools are closed Tuesday. As does Patch and WBZ.
