Remember to lock your car doors at night.

Over 50 citations issued this week, and HPD would like its sign back.

April 1:

Larceny, Locust; money taken from a vehicle over night.

K9 training, Governor Prenus Way; evidence and article search exercises.

April 2:

Two citations and six warnings.

April 3:

Two citations and three warnings.

April 4:

Malicious mischief, VFW Hall; sign damaged and profanity posted.

Complaint, Hollis; report of landscaper blowing leaves into the street.

11PM, Animal incident, Winter/Ashland; report of loose dog.

April 5:

Larceny, Washington/South; Three road signs stolen.

                One Lane Road Ahead

                Police Officer Ahead

Complaint, Central; resident found needles in the road and turned them into HPD for proper disposal.

April 6:

Complaint, Hopping Brook Road; report of two dirt bikers on the rail trail.

Vehicle stop with arrest, 461 Washington; Jaime Leopoldo Castro-Tacuri of Milford, for unlicensed operation and failure to wear a seat belt.

April 7:

Noise complaint, Highland; gun shots heard.

During the reporting period, 35 citations and 20 warnings were issued. Two erratic drivers were spotted.

Second Citizens Police Academy Coming

Still time to Register The Holliston Police Department has scheduled its second Citizens Police Academy for April 29-July 1. The focus of this eleven-week academy is to educate citizens about the Holliston Police Department, its organization, operations and role in the community. The age requirement has been dropped to 17 to make the course available to high school seniors who may be considering a career in law enforcement.
