Holliston defeated Dover-Sherbon 6-1

The 2013 Holliston High Varsity Baseball team

Holliston enjoyed a 6 to 1 victory over Dover-Sherborn on April 29th. Michael Galeaz pitched a complete game giving up only one hit.

This was the second victory for the team this season. The 6 to 1 win came about as a result of 12 hit attack off two Dover-Sherborn pitchers.

On Monday May 13, 2013, Officer Matt Stone and his working partner Cesh, Holliston's police dog, visited the senior center for a demonstration of Cesh's talents. Cesh is now 17 months old and continues to be trained in the various aspects of police work.

The Marathon Fitness Challenge Proposed to Miller Students

The Marathon Fitness Challenge (MFC) was recently presented to the Miller students. The MFC is a health and fitness program that will provide a great opportunity for the students to challenge themselves, their classmates, and their families. The goal of this program is for students to run or walk an ultimate distance of a marathon: 26.2 miles in 21 weeks! Students who reach a distance of a half marathon, 13.1 miles, will also be recognized. The Golden Sneaker award and Golden Shoelaces - These are to be awarded to the classroom in each grade who accumulates the most "mile/student."
